AnswerDude 05-27-2004, 08:43 AM Here's 2 bluetooth guides, not sure if they will help because the laptop is not directly connect to the internet, it will be a lot easier and faster if you just get wifi card for ipaq and connect to internet with it same as your laptop. http://home.comcast.net/~spam-target/index.html http://www.geekzone.co.nz/content.asp?contentid=1421 h1930 05-27-2004, 12:48 PM lol Yea I guess I could do it that way. But SDIO wi-fi cards are so expensive JimmyFitz 05-27-2004, 10:40 PM You can sych to the laptop with either WiFi or Bluetooth. Once synched, the internet connection of the PC is available to the PPC. Bluetooth is a slow serial connection. In order to take advantage of the DSL high speed, WiFi is the way to go. You can configure the PPC to connect via WiFi to the internet without going thru the PC at all. h1930 05-28-2004, 06:22 AM thanks... figured Lukaino 10-09-2004, 11:55 PM Yea, I can't seem to get it set up. Everytime I try to connect to my laptop, it says Service Discovery isn't set up on my laptop... which my laptop claims to be untrue. Anyone else have the same problem? messy 10-13-2004, 09:00 PM I use a WiFi Router at home (Netgear 614) which isnīt that expensive. My work PC is connected via cable and all others are wireless (kids room, PDA, laptop). It would be an investment of maybe 50 ($ 60). Hope this helps messy Lukaino 10-13-2004, 11:46 PM lol yea i see. Thanks. I have a wi-fi router but unfortunately my device is BT only. I will have to buy a new PDA (Dell X50v?) w/Wi-Fi to take advantage PDA Street
