Help me decide....PLEASE!!

Good morning.

I have a Dell X30 PPC on order. I am still going to get that, but am looking for a GPS solution for when we travel, etc. I keep thinking that the Garmin Ique would be great to use for this purpose, as well as a PDA when traveling. But, I've also been thinking about the Earthmate Blue Logger GPS (http://www.earthmate.com/prod_bluelogger.asp) to use in conjunction with the X30.

Now, I know this is an Ique forum, but if anyone could provide me with their opinions on my options and help me get off the fence, I'd appreciated it. I'm looking to place an order very soon (today if possible) one way or the other.

Don't know where you live, but I have found the Ique handy to get to some place I have not been before around town. For that purpose I find a laptop a lot to carry. Also I used a laptop for one trip and found it clumsy to use in the car, you need a send person.

I don’t know how integrated a solution the “Earthmate Blue Logger GPS” provides or if it has all the features of the Ique. I find Qfind and the voice commands invaluable.

From the timing (summer time and vacation) I am not sure what you mean by travel. One other suggestion, think longer range and how you can use the devices you are thinking about.

I think the Dell X30 PPC is a Pocket PC not a lap top.
