Dear List,

I have some documents that are only readable by ISilo, some only readable by Handheldmed's EZ Reader, and still others only readable by TealDoc.

Is there one Palm reader which can read all documents?

Thanks.

Bob,
If there is one they are keeping it in the same safe with the formula for the little pills you put in the cars gas tank and then just add water to make your own gas.
I sure wish that there was such a reader.

Doc,

Sigh, I suspected that was the case.

I have Reader #3 only to read one specific medical textbook, and some other readers to look at other medical textbooks.

Is it possible to rename Reader #3 to the name of the textbook...in order to help me remember which reader reads which book?

Or can I create a new icon that directly launches Reader #3 to the medical text?

Thanks.

Bob,
I am not familiar with Reader #3. As you indicate it is a special use reader. If it has an ICON that apps in the APPS launcher there are ways of desiging a different ICON for it. It sounds like it is connected to your documnet and perhaps does not present itself clearly in the Launcher Window.

Have you looked into the Adobe Reader for the Palm? Its pretty nice and if you have Adobe Reader on your PC you can convert DOC files to PDF files and read them on the Palm in Adobe.

Doc,

Reader #3 is Handhelded's Reader program.

My Reader #1 is ISilo, and my Reader #2 is TealDoc.

Bob,
The link below is not an answer to your desire for a universal reader but it should prove interesting on the subject of readers.
