Much Help Needed!

I set a password a long time ago, with the 4-digit default password program, and recently installed the Microsoft Password Update so I could use characters, but I'm afraid I've forgotten the 4 digit password and it won't work with the character Password Program. Is there any way to find out that password without reseting the entire PC and losing all info?
