power on problem

Hi,
Recently my Ipaq 5455 has starting switching off just after I turn the unit on. It happens on every turn on and at a random inverval after pressing the on button (it happens within 10 seconds though each time).

Have the fine people in this forum any ideas? A soft reset doesn't help by the way.

Is it beciase you are running low on RAM?

I know that if I have to much crap then there is a delayed response on turn on. Then I press the power button on agian only to turn it on and off. The delay can cause the iPaq to do wierd things...

How much free ram do you have? (just in case Start>settings>system>memory.

Does it matter what button you turn it on with? Calendar button etc?

Does it matter if you got it plugged to the adaptor?

And dare I mention the dreaded hard resets? Tried one of those?

We need more data!
