Revo recurrent soft reset

Each time I press Ctrl-Shift-J to access the list of my recent files, my Revo operates a soft reset. This happens also if I order List Recent Files from the Menu.

Any idea? Has anyone already experienced this bug?

Note. My 1 year old Revo has already been serviced twice in August.

Did you see my reply to you in "comp.sys.psion.apps"?

I thought perhaps you were using an application which allows you to define keypresses and there might have been a conflict with the system keypresss, causing the resets.

The other question is - what did you install immediately before this problem started?

Another thought, your "Mru.dat" file which contains the Recent Files list might actually be corrupt. Try deleting (or renaming to hide) the file which is in the path C:\System\Data\Mru.dat and see if that stops it resetting.

A deliberate soft reset might also clear any problem.

A small program written by Rolf Volnau. He needed me to run it on my Revo to test something. Here is the code:
