I've searched the archives, but I couldn't find where anybody compared the City Navigator functionality on an iQue vs. something like the 2610.

Yeah, there's this thread (http://www.pdastreet.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=36121) where Jonas complains about the lack of entering roadblocks but I claim that's a function of the software not the map.

People say that CN routes on the iQue (especially useful pre-CS6 for roundabouts in Europe) and patch 3 was supposed to fix some find issues with CN, but my main question is in the quality of the routing.

I've read (http://gpsinformation.us/sp26xx/sp2610rev.html) that CN on the SP2610 not only tells you where to turn, but can also give you lane information (audibly, visually, I don't know), maybe just at complex interchanges- I'd like to know more but can't find that in the reviews I've read.

In particular, I'm wondering if it gives more information than just "in 0.3 miles keep right" even when all four lnes of the road bank right and only the leftmost lane splits off. Don't you hate pulling all the way to the far right lane and slowing down to half your speed just to find you didn't need to? (okay, it's low on may list of hates, but it's there)
