I am attempting to use a Casio CF modem card with my iPaq 3835 PocketPC. With past PocketPCs all I had to do was insert the CF card and select the Casio device from a list. The following message appears when I insert the same modem into the iPaq 3835: "Unrecognizable card. Enter the name of the device driver for this card."
Any advice on this issue is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

My Targus Pocket Modem works as you described. I know this doesn't help with your problem, but it possibly points to it being the card itself.
When I insert my Targus CF Modem it shows up in the list.
Good luck.

Thanks for the information...The modem works fine in my HP Jornada and Cassiopea E100. But perhaps the CF back pack is bad.

I just ran into the same thing installing my new Linksys CF wireless card. It said the same exact thing and I just clicked OK and then it seemed to work with no problem. I would hate to see you take it back and have the same thing happen again. My CF card is working perfectly.
