Data Backup Restore

I recently upgraded my Pocket PC (Toshiba e350, PPC2002) to PPC2003. I have tried to restore a backup file (backup.dbk) created on the 2002 to the 2003 OS. When I run the Data Backup Restore I get this message, "Warning! OS version is different." Is there anyway to get this data restored? Unfortunately, I am not able to "downgrade" the OS back to PPC2002.

As fas as i know there is no way to do it, you need to reinstall applications from the desktop(can be done in one step via activesync add/remove programs. And if you sync PIM information such as contacts and calendar, you can create a new partnership and resync them to your pocketpc.
