Is there a *clean* way to shutdown a GPRS session when I've finished sending/receiving email or web browsing, other than waiting for the idle timer or exit timer (set in the "Internet" applet on the control panel) to expire?I've found the hard way that if I abort the connection by taking the phone away then Ihave to do a soft reset, which Icount as distinctly dirty!

Does the normal method of pressing "Ctrl-U" twice not work?

Ah, so!Evidently a case of WAEFRTI(When All Else Fails, Read The Instructions)! I'll try that next time I'm using GPRS(on the wireline modem at the moment, 'cos it's faster &cheaper than GPRS!).
I assume Ctrl-U to close an internet session is documented in the user manual? I'll have alook when Igo up to bed (the Psion manuals are in the computer room, which is next to the bedroom...).
Thanks

What's a 'manual'? :)
In the menus for both Email and Web, it is in -
"File / Disconnect from Internet... Ctrl+U"
When you press Ctrl+U, a dialog box comes up in which you have to press Ctrl+U a second time.

Right... I always knew that a jellyware manual beats a paper one, hands down. Thanks again
