when I goto download something, it gives me three options: Mips SH3 Arm what do they mean?

They are processor types. You need to know what your unit has in order to download/purchase the right one for your unit. The book in the specifications area should show what yours is. If not go to the makers site and look for specifications on your unit.

yeah, I got it :) I have the ARM processor on my iPAQ H3835 :cool:

All Compaq/HP iPaqs are ARM (Intel StrongARM)
Casio E-200 is also ARM (Intel StronARM)
All other Casios are MIPS (NEC MIPS)
All HP Jornadas are SH3 (MOTOROLA SH3)

Any new PPCs coming in, ie Toshiba, Dell, etc... will all be ARM or XScale (which is ARM)
