I bought a Agere wireless card rebadged as a Dell during the sale Dell had last week.
I was very much looking forward to it as it was recommended and several people were using it with their IBM Workpad z50.
However, I cannot. The client management software runs and tells me build 617 but the driver does not load. In fact, that's what I am told on my z50, the driver is not loaded.
I got the driver from the agere website for Windows CE. The lights on the card will not come on when inserted in the z50, it works fine on my laptop.
Of course all that helpful information that was there last week is gone, including the hints and tips. Gone forever. I had no idea that I was supposed to printout what I needed.
I hope people leave this place, ad revenue dries up, and the entire website folds in order to reopen again under a different owner and a different company. An owner with a little common sense.
