Hi !
Anyone tried to use BT phone (Sony Ericsson P900 or T610 in my case) as a modem for the netBook ?
Any luck ?
Is it true that USB-Sync is not possible ?
Can I import .vcf contact card from PC or Phone ?
What 3rd party software are you all using ?
thanks

I have used the NBPro with my T610 and the Socket SDIO Bluetooth card. It worked out of the box with next to no configuration. However, the SD card sticks out from the front of the Psion - one of the most stupid design flaws on the machine. I am forever cactching the card on things and nearly losing it as it falls out.
As for syncing and contact lists, don't get me started on the heap of **** that passes as a contact manager in the NBPro - nor the non-availablility of a half-decent replacement.
All I can say is roll on Linux - this will turn the NBPro from a white elephant into a really useful networking and maintenance diagnostic tool...

I also use a Socket CF bluetooth card with a T39 Ericsson.
The bluetooth connection works straight away and the phone works as a normal or GPRS modem without any problems.
Can beam VCF cards from the phone to the NBP, they end up as a file in my docs, have not found out how to import them into Pocket on Schedule.

If i well recall, after inserting your card you go to the bluetooth manager. After scanning for devices you have to activate functions that the NBP has scanned and add a password if you have programmed the phone with a password on bluetooth.
does this help?

I've just purchased a Netbook Pro (awaiting its delivery) and one of my main uses will be remote desktop connection
Can I ask those people with working Bluetooth cards what the exact model numbers of the Anycom and Socket cards are, as from other forums I have read about problems with CE 4.2 devices and bluetooth and don't want to buy a card that doesn't work!
