I am entertaining the thought of purchasing the Seidio 2500 car mount for my iQue 3600, having owned the Garmin bean bag mount and finding not only the built-in speaker tinny sounding but the mount not idealy located at a focal length that is very compatible for my seeing my iQue with my blended bifocals. That being said, Seidio's web site has a space to punch in a Coupon Code. Does anyone have a valid code or know where I may obtain one prior to purchase? I would like to order the mount in aoubt 7 or 8 hours (when I get homne from work), so if anyone can help out within this time frame I surely would be MOST appreciative!! Thanks in advance!!!

I have this mount in my Suburban on a flex (goose neck?) mount.
For some reason, the iQue does not stay locked in position. Lets face it, one does not look constantly at the battery gauge and before you know it, you have a dead battery.

It looks good and works well when you stay put, but when you travel, watch out.

For that reason, I not recommend this holder.

While I purchased this product a few months ago, I ALSO bought the optional 14" gooseneck mount. Just rub a little water around the inside of the suction cup, push it straight against the windshield glass and make sure when you lock it down with the lever that it puts up a little resistance, assuring a solid grip that will not come apart unless the seal is broken (since a vacuum is created). WORKS GREAT, especially on long trips; for short hops in and around town where I need my iQue for directions, I just pop it in the Garmin bean bag mount, which is adequate for this purpose!!

Maybe I was not clear enough, I do not have problems with the suction cup, it is the holder that holds the iQue for the electrical connections that is the problem.

So why not contact Seidio and inform them of the problem? I had issues with several units until I finally obtained one that worked properly (growing pains?)? They were very helpful and cooperative during the resolution of the various problems that I encountered, and it WAS resolved to the satisfaction of all parties involved!!

Rick,

You have a point, right now I have it in a vehicle where it is closer so I keep an eye on it.
