Hi there Ipaq users,

I have a brand new Ipaq 3970 and its great to work with it.
The only problem I got is make a connection to my Acer laptop 630
I bought a Bluetooth PC card 3com 3RWB6096 and I try to make an activesync connection.
The 3com bt-manager sais that a connection is made to the Bluetooth serial host adapter (com3)and on the Ipaq I get the message:
Connecting to host... and it will stay there until the time out is active....
When I search with activesync to new connections he finds (sometimes) the serial client (com7) and the green circle of activesync is active....
But a minute later on the Acer screen appears the message:
Unkown device > retry or disconnect comport...
Is this a known problem with 3com BT cards????
I use the newest drivers of 3com and also Acvtivesync 3.6
If anyone can help, I would be very happy...

Thanks Ep1p for your reply :-)

I tried the same, I even downloaded the newest Activesync 3.6 (Nov 19 version) but I still have the same problem.
It looks like the active sync does not recognize my Ipaq 3970
But thanks again for your help, I search further....

Finaly after a few hours of switching comports, it works!!!
Right now, I can go on the internet, transfer files etc... via bluetooth :-)
