I just recieved my iQue yesterday and have it up and running. I did get the maps loaded but as I was looking at the webpage for the mapsouce I noticed that it showed an interface for the PC to view the maps and load data. Mine came with Ver 6 of the Mapsource City Select. I downloaded the update and now the interface shows up. When I put in a route I cannot get the software to find the iQue to transfer data to it. It will find the iQue if I want to transfer data from it to the PC but not from the PC to the iQue.

Can anyone tell me how to make it reccognize this iQue?

Unfortunately, you won't be able to transfer routes across your PC and iQue. A little shortsighted, yes, but that's the way it is.

Thanks. I wonder why they choose not to allow it to transfer to the iQue? That is really a disapointment.

According to what I've heard, it was a question about what their programmers should do first. This is on the list of things to do, but at the current release rate of new receivers from Garmin, they simply haven't had the time.
Same goes for the time format in GPS applications. No 24 hour display yet, due to too few programmers at Garmin.

I can't avoid wondering how come they could omit that in the first place. It couldn't exactly be unknown to the people in Olathe, that a great part of the population in the world does know how many hours there are in a day...
