I bought a new TT at Circuit City this morning it was $499 with a $25 dollar rebate. I have transfered address, memo, todo, and note data from my 505 to the TT. I have not loaded any 3rd party software yet. So far the unit is working fine.

So far, I have found little that doesn't work with the Tungsten T.
My Xircom Wirless LAN adapter doesn't work. But I expect Xircom to release a firmware upgrade in a month or so to correct that.
Also, Plucker 1.2 crashes the OS. I put in a bug report for that one.
But the rest of my 3rd party apps worked just fine.

The version of Mapopolis I was using on my m505 does not work on my Tungsten T. Mapopolis' web site has a new version 5.0 that was written to incorporate and be compatable with Palm OS5's features. ... Also, I had heard that AvantGo does not work with the Tungsten T, although I have not yet tried it. ... The earlier versions of SplashPhoto will work, but the latest version (3.51) was written to work with Tungsten T's higher res screen, etc. ... I have not yet tried X-Master and any hacks. ... Other than that, all my applications are working fine.

I use Launcher III. It works with OS5, except for the D-Pad.

Programs that don't work so far:
* Time Place 4
* Moon 1.7 (I'll really miss that one!)
* Travel Data 2002b
* ASCII Chart 2.0.3
* ScrShot 1.0
* Pro Bartender 5.3
Hardware driver for
* LandWare GoType keyboard
* PockeTop wireless IR keyboard
* Sakar folding keyboard
- (My PPK is MIA and I can't find it, so I haven't tried the new beta PPK driver)
But most of the programs I've tried have worked. BUT I'm really hurting for a keyboard....
So far, I *really* like the Tungsten T, though!

Monon333, no dust under the screen of my TT. I've had it since Tuesday, Oct 29, and have used it many times daily. I keep it in my left pants pocket. Also, did not have a dust problem with my m505, which I've used daily for over 1.5 years (since May 2001.)
clare, thanks for your list of non-working apps on your TT. I don't use any of them, but it's good to know. ... With regard to your keyboard, Palm just posted a beta driver for the TT and the PPK. Here is the link:
http://www.palm.com/support/beta/tungstent_keyboard.html
Hope that solves your keyboard problem.

Hackmaster voltage display hack doesn't work
and even though Avantgo is having issues and I need to reset every now and again; the ~4 second re-boot time makes this fairly painless (so far!)
