My brand new Netbook Pro's Keyboard is not responding.

I had a similar? problem early on. The touch screen stopped responding. An earlier post mentioned this 'severe' hard reset using ctrl-alt-esc to reload the OS. It worked for me. Please note that all settings and data will be lost.
Also, make sure you have the latest OS from Psion Tek. I am on the 3rd release (original plus 2 more) and each one seems to be more stable.
