Backup Program Recomendations

Well, now that I have been burned a few times by total data loss caused by changing batteries, does anyone out there have a well behaved Backup/Restore program to recommend. I have not had much luck with the provided Backup/Restore application that came with the unit. I am looking for a total solution that will restore the system and applications from a storage card to a state as if nothing had happened.
