Is there any programs that will control my desktop through Bt so I can change my music etc from my iPAQ ?

TIA

For free, general remote desktop control;
VNC
Server;
http://www.realvnc.com/
Client;

http://www.allware.com.mx/Windowsce/

If the desktop is running windows 2000 server, windows xp pro or windows 2003 server, you can try Terminal Services;

For commercial, remote control desktop music program;
RemoteAmp
http://www.smashcasi.com/remoteamp/
Zerama Remote

IRemote

Total Input

Tried this, even though I have used Tight VNC I still can't get this to work, the help/set up files are not the best instruction I've seen :)

How do you get a 'client' program onto the PPC ?

RemoteAmp

Dial up :( for the others, I wanted Bluetooth :(

What ipaq do you have? Terminal service client should be included with wm2003.
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/support/pocketpc/toc/programs.aspx?language=en&os=2003&devicename=hp%20iPAQ%20Pocket%20PC%20H1945/1940&deviceid=50&deviceType=PPC

Which program are you referring to as dial-up and not bluetooth? RemoteAmp(and the other in the list) operates over any TCP/IP connection which include bluetooth.

Ok thanks, never used this before so after a little play I got it to connect :) great, well almost, it only connects through the sync cradle. I can't get it to connect through the Bt network which is on and fine as I can browes the net through it.

I'm to confused by this terminal stuff, maybe if I connect through the Bt serial port instead ?

Thanks I'll keep playing :)

Another problem it seems is when I go to try and play music it says my sound card is not installed, but when I return to the desktop it plays fine so it must be reading the iPAQ :( oh well that wont work

But thanks for the tip, it might be handy if I could get it to work through Bt.
