I discovered that after backing up, none of the files had changed on my PC (WindowsXP, PsiWin 2.3.3). Everything in My Psion/Properties looks OK. As a test, I moved everything in the Backup\Internal folder to a different location, then did a backup. The backup window goes through the usual checking, archiving, etc., but there was nothing in the Backup\Internal folder.

MY only solution was to select, in the PC Explorer, everything in Psion\Internal and drag/copy to my Backup\Internal folder. That worked OK.

I recently had to reformat my hard drive a reinstall all programs. I don't know whether that has anything to do with it because I had never really checked my Backup folder before - just assumed that everything was being backed up properly. Hadn't done a restore in ages.

Does anyone have any ideas what's going on?

Stupid me! :(

I found out why my backups were not working. Well, they *were* working, just going to a different place. After reformatting, the first time I started to backup it thought it was a new machine and asked me for a name and where to backup. I had already copied my Psion backups back to the PC. They are in a a folder C:\Psion, which has 3 sub-folders: Mako; Psion5; and Psion5mx. I clicked the browse button and went to C:\Psion\Psion5 instead of C:\Psion. The backups were going into a new folder C:\Psion\Psion5\Psion5. I just never noticed the new sub-folder before.

Maybe this info will be of help to someone.
