Hi,

I'm new to this forum, and trying to find out about GPS solutions for the 4155. I've searched the web, and it seems like the only comparison charts are the ones promoting specific products. The Bluetooth GPS solutions I'm considering are:

Tom Tom (interesting "blocked route" feature)
CoPilot Live
Anycom
HP GPS
Mapopolis
NavMan with SmartST
Pharos
Socket
Space Machine
Teletype

You can see how this can be a big job. There is no way for any single person to buy all of these and compare them, so I am turning to you. Any insight?

Best regards,
Chris

You can also do a search on this board (upper right corner below the banner next tto home button), there are several old threads discussing it.

I just bought a Deluo Bluetooth GPS for my Ipaq 4150(same as 4155) and I can tell you it can't get better than that.
I'm using it with OziexplorerCE

Here's the link:

You will have a great time:)

I have one of the NavMan sleeve GPS's that uses SmartST and it is a great device. The software is what makes the GPS. The hardware is pretty similar between the devices. In fact when performing research you will find that many sellers buy their hardware from the same manufacturer and then bundle them with their software that they have created.

That being said I think SmartST is pretty good. It is acurate and fast. Best testimonial I can give is that I have used it to find dirt roads in the rural area of North Georgia mountains. I am talking about way out in the back country many miles from a city.
