I have only owned my E125 for about a week now and I noticed that most programs seem to be for pocket pc2002. Can I upgrade from CE 3.0 to pocket pc2002?

I might be mistaken, but as far as I can tell PPC 2000 only supports ARM processors, and the E 1xx series uses MIPs. So no, PPC2000 won't work. I'm miffed by this as well; I wanted to get PPC2000 on my E 115. :\

Hi slippery!
I'v been using my E-125 for a year now & the take is, you can't upgrade to PPC 2002(not PPC 2000) cos' it doesn't have a flashable ROM & PPC 2002 runs on StrongARMS processors only.
However, there'r many softwares that run on CE 3.0(currently installed on your E-125) cos' it has been around for the past two years! Just check it out....there'r really lots of them...in fact, my 128Mb CF card holds many softwares that helps me alot.
You may want to play around with the NOVOSEC Pocket Facelift to give your Today screen a PPC 2002 look...try it...it's fantastic & there's even a free Full-screen Theme Generator. Email me if you are interested.
Cheers!

I guess that answers my question. I will start collecting software for CE3.0 now.:)
