People, people...
Garmin needs to save us from ourselves.
One thread has devolved into MSFT/anti-MSFT (sucking a mod in with it), devolving further into BinLaden-isms, and now heading toward anti-fundamentalist Islam.
Another thread has gone into animals mocking female body parts...
Please, give us r4/iQue 3601/City Select v.6/whatever soon. We may implode.
In the meantime, please play nice. :)

That thread should scroll off an die, I didn't see any anti-fundamentalism/islam bashing sprouting there, although it did wander too far off the Garmin topic for anyone's good. I will continue, though, to defend the iQue and the Palm OS, moderator or not. This is, after all, a support forum for the iQue, not a place to bash it. Frustrations may bubble over, but all in all I'd say our experiences are good, and I'd like that good thought to continue.

Please give thread cites so we don't have to search every topic to find the juicy bits. This is a real tease for those too busy to read every topic.

This is the best I could do.

Umm, sorry, sort of.
My first bit was about the thread on Garmin releasing r4.
My second bit was about the thread on congratulating the cat on his posting prowess (which he has again proven with the tasty morsel bit).
The references were left out because I didn't want to point fingers at specific folk or encourage the behavior. Draw your own conclusions about the wisdom of that.
I understand that, cultural differences being what they are, the line between prudish and offensive can be tricky to navigate. I thought that the two examples I mentioned (but did not cite) went beyond fun and toward making groups of people feel uncomfortable. Given the two responses before yours, I apparently did not have a following on this. Oh well.

Hey, I resemble that remark.:D
BTW, that tasty morsel is only a hummingbird, nothing obscene there.
We do go over the top now and then but all in all it's not too bad, IMHO. Anyway, all opinions are welcome here. :)

All in all, it's usually very entertaining even if it strays OT at times.
I'd say that this forum is every bit as good as Ivory soap, 99.44% pure. :)

Could this be evolving into two forums? One called "Dreary iQue" and the other called "OT, Sex, Animals and Serious iQue Subjects".
Any guesses as to which one gets the most posting and therefore the most interest?

Inspired by this thread, I finally thought of something to replace the title associated with my user id.
