How to get a split pane views..... [Archive]

Hi.... Is it possible to have a split pane view on the blackberry device using either J2ME or BlackBerry specific API...? This should make me to have a two panes. The bottom pane which has got a Tree cotrol should scroll based on the tree height and leaving the top one as static which has some buttons and other controls.
