Was wondering if anyone has come accross any issues with using 2 cradles on different machines to synchronize calendar entries. We are using the Lotus Notes/Domino Enterprise server.

See to be some issues with calendar entries getting deleted. I am trying to figure out if this is because of the two locations and the device is getting confused.

Let me know if you have come across this.

Thanks!

We are using Exchange 5.5, but I suspect the issues are similar with Lotus Domino. One of our senior executives insisted on synchronizing with three different PCs, because he traveled frequently, and didn't want to bring a laptop to each of the different locations.

The key point to keep in mind is that since we are using BlackBerry 2.1 with wireless calendar, it was important to make sure the user was always "on-line" with Outlook BEFORE attempting to synchronize.

In general I would discourage anyone from attempting to sync with more than one PC, mainly because the sync rules are dependent on the last PC that the BlackBerry synched with. So, it's very important to make sure that your sync settings are the same on each PC. You also should ensure that both PCs are running the same version of the email client and, ideally, the same PC operating system. It can work, but it's very touchy and potentially frustrating for the user and support personnel.

It will work as long as you have a stable MAPI connection as that user to the Exchange server. Make sure all the desktop managers are the same versions including service packs. No harm done in syncing multiple places
