For everyone who has this question, you need to get virtualdub at http://www.virtualdub.com/ . Combined with the Sony Image Converter, you can convert MQV files to MPEG files as long as the total movie length is under one hour.

yea but how do i get the file on pc?

You copy the file from your memory stick to your PC the same as any other file. Is there something I'm missing here?

i dont have a memory stick reader,can i do it through the sony clie?

Yes, go to your backup folder on your PC and look for the movie file there. It gets backed up as part of the normal hotsync.

Try activating the MS import utility on your clie,, then use your windows explorer, you will see a "Removable disk" on your drives.. go to ":\MQ_ROOT\100MQV01" folder and you will find your file,,

NOTE,, you have to install the drivers for the MS Import on your PC,, you need the Clie MS SCSI Driver intalled on your PC to activate the conection between your Clie and your PC..
