Hi all,
I am leaving for Rome IT this Saturday. I will have this hardware with me for my iQue3600, 1 gig SD and Europe CS:
From Palm: Power to Go
GPS City Battery Power Pack*
GILSSON antenna (I know I spelled it right this time)
SEIDIO portable mount
*Which batteries work better, alkine or rechargeable ones?
Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Since you didn't put "battery charger" on your list of items you're taking, I would go with the alkaline. :D
Other than that, rechargeables will serve you better if you're going to be needing it often, alkaline would be better if you're just going to store it for a long time just in case you ever need it.

You were right all the time! I edited my post after you replied to make it look like you were in the wrong!:D

I have been very happy with the Nickle-Metal Hydride rechargables. Places like Best Buy and COSTCO carry Panasonic chargers for 120/240 V with AA batteries for <$20. I took two sets of batteries and recharged whenever they'd been depleted. If your charger plugs directly into an outlet, don't forget a plug adapter.
I hate to throw away alkaline batteries, so I avoid using them when I can. It doesn't take long for the NiMH route to be the more cost-effective choice, as well.
Have a great trip! Kit

Any plans for geocaching while in Rome? Might be a lot of fun if you have some spare time.

No time for geocaching, will be there for only 2 days, pick up a car and go north.
