Text after upgrade

I just upgraded my Ipaq 3635 to Pocket PC 2002. No problems with the upgrade, but I have noticed that the text is not as clear as it was, especially when it is black letters on a white background. There seems to be a red or blue haze around the letters.

Has anyone else noticed this and is there a fix for the problem.

That is "ClearType". To turn ClearType off, get a registry utility that either has "canned" options such as tuning on and off ClearType, or use the editor to change the following registry key values as needed:

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Shell\ClearType 1 --> 0
HKCU\Software\Snoopsoft\Dashboard\UseClearType 1 --> 0
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\NoClearType 0 --> 1
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Int ernet Settings\ClearTypeText 1 --> 0


MultiIE page 1 options has a checkbox to disable ClearType in PIE.
