Hi hamdja!
Congratulations on your recent purchase!
Try downloading ActiveSync 3.5 from the MS website or you can also download the latest AS 3.6. Some probles on connectivity are dealt with in these release.

Stangely, my set is equipped with USB Cradle...anyhow, hope this little info helps.
Let me know the outcome...I'm still learning too.
Cheers!
Victor:)
PS: The latest MS 3.5 build no is 12007 under the Help->About MS ActiveSync tab.

it still doesn't work, eventhough i have installed the latest AS 3.6
it still appears that my device was not detected but it says my USB is available.
I also have tried it on my friend's computer (XP OS) but the result just the same...
Any other suggestion???
thanx anyway victorlu!

Hi hamdja!
Since yours is a new set, why not bring it back to the dealer to exchange the cradle?...you may have a faulty cradle...preferably get a USB cradle instead of a serial.
Obviously the AS is able to detect your USB port availability.
Just a thot....

What is the setting on your device for Active Synch connection to PC ? Is it the USB or the Serial connection ?
Since neither the cradle nor the USB hot synch cable work with the deice perhaps the I/O asic on the device is faulty. Send it to Casio for fixing it.
Hope this helps.
