my Q keeps losing it's maps and data...i leave it in my car.....on the garmin auto mount...seems like the battery drains (i typically get a low battery error when i start the car)....and eventually...poof...everything is gone....is there a particular power setting that i am missing....?? this is really getting irritating...i never had any problems before.

Are you sure you're getting power from the auto plug? I had this problem once, and found that I jus wasn't properly plugged in.

A partial work-around would be to store your maps on an SD card, instead of RAM. That way they are not reliant on your battery and should always be there (unless your card goes bad). Also, you can get programs to backup your normal data on an SD card. This should help protect everything in RAM.
Of course this doesn't solve the main problem of your iQue regularly losing its charge. For us to try to help you, we'll need more details. For example... Do you turn off your iQue when you leave your car, or do you let it auto-off? Do you keep an external antenna plugged into it or leave the normal antenna open? Does your car's cig lighter stay powered when your car is off, or does the power get cut? Does this same type of thing happen when you take the iQue off of the auto cradle overnight? Does the same thing happen when it's getting power from the wall? More details might help us out.
