IPAQ 4155 - syncing over a network

Hi

I am considering purchasing an Ipaq 4155, but need to know whether I can sync with Outlook 2003 over a network running windows NT server? My local PC also has Outlook 2003, but do I have to sync my networked Outlook with my local version and then sync the Ipaq with the local version of Outlook?

Yes, you should be able to, you do need appropriate hardwares such as wireless router or access point. Here's a good guide;

Thank you for that. Does my laptop count as an access point, as I am networked over that?

If your laptop is wifi capable, in theory it should work the same way. Ad hoc or peer to peer wifi set up can be a little more complicated but you should be able to bridge you connection to the server. If the current setup is not working, wifi access point is fairly inexpensive.
