hi im sorry i asked for the total remote free its just sometime they have uk sites which will give stuff out form free i didn't mean to be illegal really but what are my options for a free tv remote with a hp4155.

As far as i know, there is no freeware remote control for pocketpc. Ipaq 4155 does not have consumer grade IR which maked the range very short (3 feet or less) and the IR port is at the bottom of the unit which make this model not a practical remote control device. You should look into stand alone universal remote control instead.

What i don't understand is why ipaq would charge u more for a 4155 than a 2215 bu give the consumer grade ir port to the 2215.
I mean what the heck.

The 4155 is designed primary for business use with built-in wifi, more memory, etc.

Yes, but I have several clients at work that use their iPAQ's (2200 and 5400 series) that use the IR to control LCD Projectors, and of course AV equipment for presentations.

As a matter of fact, I have more clients that use this feature than many friends that might use it at home. Way more. I don't really use Nevo at home either - at least not after the novelty wore off. But I do use it at work when I'm giving presentations quite regularly.
