This is somewhat of a pointless post, but I just got the ique and it's still in the box. I'm going to change my clothes, head to the bathroom, and prepare myself to read most of the manual today.
I just hope it's ok.

I can't resist - B_M next time leave out the bathroom comment. That's more information then we needed (or not) to know. :D
Do charge it fully before playing with it....the Que that is. ;)

Did you have to say BM and bathroom in the same sentence? :D

hehe - sorry.
Yea, it came with a manual. I'm referring to the "integrated handheld Que applications guide."
Going to charge it now.
Be prepared for tons of questions later.

Yes, but he started it with the bathroom notation. I mean it could have either been left out, or had to go take a shower or had to see a man about a horse but since he stated that he was going to change his clothes and then prepare myself to read most of the manual today.
I assumed it meant he was going to be sitting on the throne reading the manual so.....I couldn't resist. :p

I know what he's thinking right now, "should I go to the bathroom first or open the box"? Decisions, decisions... :D
Sorry Borg, couldn't help myself.:)

For those who never looked, I can inform you about that the iQue is actually delivered with two manuals. One general and one for the Que applications (GPS oriented).

Just to point out that the general manual (applications) is in pdf format and the iQue manual is printed.

One of the manuals I got was even translated into Swedish. It looked like an interim solution, this manual being of another size and so.

Hey I don't know about the rest of you, but that initial three hour charge has to be about the longest three hours in history. ;)

Make the most of it. If you end up with a battery like mine was, you'll get no more than 3 hours use from it - for eternity!;)

Every time I see a new "I just got my iQue" message I look to see if the poster was Bokkie. Still waiting for the day. ;)

Haven't taken them out for a while but if I remember right, one was Garmin oriented (no pun) and the other was Palm oriented.

I'd like Garmin to feel my Palm across the back of their heads, but I'm even deprived of that luxury. Tomorrow, I am going to call them as they said "it should be ready Friday."
Which Friday, is another matter for those oriented to conjecture, to pontificate and contemplate....

That's what I meant. Two manuals. Printed on paper. One in English, the other in Swedish.
I didn't see and pdf. Maybe they leaked and pfft away?
Besides, there were some useless plastic discs as well. I tried to give them to the girls, since I thought they could use them as mirrors, but they said it wouldn't do, as there were holes in the middle of the mirrors.
They probably threw them away. Was that a mistake?

You tried to Palm your girls off with defective mirrors?
The hole itself has some merit though. It reminds them of the hole in your wallet which they have no doubt, every intention of enlarging as soon as they can. Anders, did you honestly think you could hoodwink them for one moment? You have a lot to learn.:D

Giving them the Round plastic disc's were pretty smart. Some Palm software writer has the mirror program to make the Palm/iQue a mirror. If you gave them iQue for that purpose instead the hole in the wallet would be that much larger. Nothing like a $500-600.00 inferior mirror in my book. ;)

Hey, Bokkie, I've got the solution--Just move to the good old US of A!! I sent my defective iQue3600 back to Olathe, Kansas the other day after receiving a BRAND NEW ONE (with NA CS 6, to boot) shipped to me via 2nd Day Air!! I shipped the old defective one to them via el cheapo Ground Service (hey, they've got my money, $590, charged to my credit card until they receive the old one). I could not be more satisfied, as the new one works like a charm--all problems corrected and faster than before, too!! Looks like Garmin Europe keeps dropping the ball!! Hey, we don't even have THAT MANY rotaries (traffic circles to all of us Yanks except those in the Boston, Massachusetts area, who some think still belongs to the British Colonies, LOL!)!! My only hope is that what you get back, too, is better than what you sent to them! Hey, they don't have the equivalent of our old Pony Express over there, do they??

You guys did the right thing back in 1776 (?).
I am destined to get back what I sent becuase it surely can't take 5 weeks to send a replacement. Pony Express? Nope, no sign of that anymore. We do though, have plenty of horse sh*t, most of which is found in Parliament.
