I've waited for several months to upgrade from my i705 to a Treo 600. The reason I waited was so I could get Verizon service. When I received an announcement from Palm that Verizon service is available, I ordered the Treo 600. Now that I have it, I was told that in order to receive emails, I can no longer sync with my Palm desktop (e.g. date book, contacts, memo, etc.). Instead, I must sync with a 3rd party called Intellisync. Their datebook, contact list, etc. is no where near as user-friendly as Palm's desk-top.
I was led to believe that I was simply purchasing the equivalent of an upgraded Palm with a phone.
Has anyone else encountered this situation?
