Has anyone seen this odd behaviour?
a)I get an email (with an attachment) from someone who sends the email as HTML, say from a hotmail account, or from Outlook.
b) I forward the email to another person adding a message to the email.
c) When the email is received, my message is missing and the "header" is missing.
By header I mean the info that you receive in an email that shows who the originator of the email is, like so:
-----Original Message-----
From: "xoxoxox xoxoxoxox" <xoxoxoxox@hotmail.com>
Date: Wed, 06 Nov 2002 01:02:06
To: xoxox@goamerica.net
Subject: Test with attachment, no reply
d) When I forward an email with no reply annotated to the email, the header remains.
e) When I forward an email with a reply and no attachment, the recipient doesn't see the header or the reply in the email, but in an attached .txt file like so:
Okay, I got it.

f) In c) above, there is no attached .txt file with the header and my annotated message.
Anyone seen this weirdness?
Thanks in advance,
