New Zire 72 wont turn on!

My Zire 72 wont turn on after it's first charge. It doesn't respond to a soft or hard reset. I've tried further charging but the unit appears dead.
The green light is on but nothing else works anyone seen this before?

Hello chri5, as the other zire users have said before myself TAKE IT BACK NOW! I sell many Zire 72 and I'll tell you that's not the way they work at all.
