Hi, I am trying to get a Proxim RangeLan2 7410 OpenAir WindowsCE PC Card to work with a Compaq Ipaq Connection Point CP-1 (Symphony-HRF). I know, I know, these are "ancient" devices ... but did anyone ever get a configuration like this to work? The Compaq Ipaq Connection Point is a HomeRF Wireless gateway that I have found may be a Proxim Symphony-HRF device. The RangeLan2 is support by a driver downloaded from Proxim which indicates that the card operates in 1. HomeRF mode, 2. OpenAir mode, or 3. Dual mode. I have tried using the Rangelan2 to connect to the Ipaq Connection Point, setting both devices to use the same "Security ID", but get the status of "Could not find a Master to synchronize with ...". If anyone knows whether these two devices should be able to communicate, I would greatly appreciate a reply! thanks!
