What other Pocket PC phone is the closest match to the iPaq 6300?
Last week when the reviews came out for the 6300 I forwarded a link to an executive in my company that is over our store managers. He travels a lot and wants a laptop replacement. He has seen my 5455 and thinks a PDA will do all he needs, which is email and view PDF attachments.
He likes the dual nature of the 6300 being able to do Wi-Fi and Cellular in the same device. But, he does not like the T-Mobile coverage area. We have stores all over the country and T-Mobile just does not come close to covering all of our areas.
He currently uses Verizon and likes the coverage area. I have sent him specs on their current Pocket PC phone, the Samsung 1700. It does not have built in Wi-Fi and he does not want to have to carry an SDIO Wi-Fi card.
So, my question to you guys is, what are my options to suggest to him? I have seen mention that the 6300 will be available through AT&T in a few months. Will Verizon carry this phone?
