While the features sound nice- unfortunately they don't work well enough to justify the price. I'm surprised the makers of this software think that this is acceptable product quality. With 30 names in my contact list, it worked OK, but when I put my usual 500 in the phone. It got the wrong choice more than 50% of the time. In my car, it almost never worked.

The digit dialing also had very poor accuracy. Most frustrating is the frequent lockups and freezes that this software causes. In my opinion.

Oh well... nice concept, but poor execution.

According to our testings, some Smartphone devices are buggy in their Audio recording facilities. Their microphone records erronous sounds without any error message." We have found this problem on certain smartphone 2002 devices, which is so far not spotted on smartphone 2003s yet.

To make sure if your device has this problem, a precaution can be done by using the built-in voice notes to record your voice, repeatedly for 10~15 times to see if the playback sounds are clear. If there is heavy noise in it, or no sound at all, then it means your have a smartphone with buggy audio. And hence, the program will not be able to work on it.

Thanks your advice.

I tried your suggestions. The recordings are crystal clear. My device already has a similar voice dialing application built-in (speaker-independent) and it works fine- even with 500 names- I tried the Cyberon application to see if the single-command voice dialing works- but accuracy and software stability is just very poor.

I'm afraid that your experience of using this program is quite contrary to the majority users we found on most smartphone forums. for example:pdaphonehome (http://www.pdaphonehome.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=33031) .......... And we are very interested in understanding your using behaviour more to find out what has caused this perception gap. Are you willing to help us in finding the problem? If so, please send your email address to info@cyberon.com.tw, so that we can proceed with the problem analysis.
