I have seen somewhere that this problem bathers users in other countries than mine (Serbia). Unfortunately it bothers me also.
When connecting through my Nokia 7250i I get on my phone message "subscribe to GPRS first" and on my tungsten C I got PPP timeout....

Well, pushing here and there I got a team in my mobile provider 064 to examine the problem and we have found it. Palm Tungsten C is not sending information entered under "init string" (AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","GPRSINTERNET") this "gprsinternet" is APN and 064 is not alowing users to connect under anonimous APN so the connection fails. On the other hand 063 alows anonimous APN and there users does not have this problem.

Maybe thos of you who had this problem know how to get Tungsten to send these informations. If someone knows - I'll apreceate the information.

Your telephone provider must enable your mobile for gprs first, then you should be able to use gprs. On my T/C I have set up a gprs connection in networks as follows: user: gprs, password: gprs, phone: *99***1#. Mind you those settings might vary with the phone providers.
Good luck.
