Does anyone know a non-exe program which will allow one to transfer files from a PC to PPC. I realise that one may be able to do it via a card reader and USB. Currently using a non-personal machine which cannot have .exe files installed, so any suggestiions appreciated.

If i remember correctly, you have ipaq 5450 which has built-in Bluetooth and Wifi. If the desktop pc has either of these connections, you can transfer files via network file sharing.

And if the files are not too large and you can access e-mail on your ipaq, you can also e-mail these files to yourself.

thanks AD. It's actually for a UK mate who's currently serving with your own US Army in Bagdhad. I have a feeling he has a Toshiba 330 which has no bluetooth so he may be proverbially stuffed!
also, will these tips on Bluetooth work if you're using a USB dongle think you?
Thanks again

Yes, the bluetooth instructions listed should apply.
