I have been very pleased with the performance of the e740, except for the well known problems discussed within this forum.
I have been wrestling with one situation that I have yet to solve without purchasing additional software, which may not resolve my dilema.
The situation is that I have been able to access my files across the wireless network from a networked drive within my home network.
I can do all of the file maintanence tasks from my PPC, just like with my networked PC, but I can not launch any PPC executable files nor can I open files with a PPC application. Applications such as those used to view jpg photo images or Acrobat Reader files.
I think has to do with the conversion process for the files when copied from a windows based PC to a Pocket PC environment. I notice the conversion process when I copy files to and from my e740.
Does anyone have any knowledge on resolving my situation?
