Eurkea: I have found a way to sync my Apple Mail with VersaMail 2.6.1 on my Tungsten T3.
I was using Entourage 2004 but I have switched to the Apple suite when I have found out how good iSync is. I can now sync wmy iPod, .Mac, Tungsten T3, Dana Wireless and Sony Ericsson T610!
Go to http://www.queuesoft.jp/index-e.html, click on the downloads link and the file AppleMailConduit102.sit. You just put it into Library:Application Support: Palm HotSync: Conduits
Then run Apple Mail and open the HotSync manager. Select Apple Mail and choose VersaMail from the drop down menu and mailbox one (NB: I had to select Macintosh Overwrites Handheld for it to work!) Keep Mail open and press the HotSync button on the cradle. There you go! Works first time!
Let me know how you get on with other devices. There is a Mail conduit for Entourage but it crashed my machine. I think this is because it was designed for Entourage v.X, not 2004.
The Dana Wireless comes with M/S Mail and it should work with that as well. Will keep you posted
