The following is an email that I sent to Resco which I am posting here hoping someone has seen this before.
Last week I flashed my Ipaq 2215 with the latest ROM image ver1.1. After loading and configuring my Ipaq I found two problems. One has to do with the ROM Image version with fonts being white in the Start Menu which is not related to your products; the other problem I'm about to explain is related to your products.
On my Start Menu I specified which apps I want there which three of them happen to be paid version of Resco products: Photo Viewer, File Explorer, and Screen Capture. The problem those items have "Ghost Icons"; this is also known as the default icon one would see for a shortcut on a Windows OS when one is not specified or seen. I can confirm now that these shortcuts execute fine from there, and this problem did go away when I removed them, and then re-addded them to the Start Menu. But for whatever reason, even after I seen the icons go to the icons assigned to the program, some reason later they went back to the default Windows Icon for reasons I am not aware of. Any ideas?
