Palm OS 4.0 to Palm OS 4.1

I heard that the upgrade to Palm OS 4.1 was free for users of Palm OS 4.0. Can Anybody varify that? Does anybody know where I can get the free upgrade?

The upgrade from OS 4.0 to OS 4.1 was not free. In addition, it only works on Palm branded machines, not Sony. The Sony implementation of the Palm OS is sufficiently different that a standard Palm OS upgrade won't work. Sony never offered an upgrade from 4.0 to 4.1. If you Clie has 4.0, that's all it will ever have.
