:D Hi everyone, i'm getting a pocket pc at the end of this month, and the best ppc that worth the price i found was Acer n20, i hv few questions that i want to enquire--->Check the following url^^

-ppc 2002
-xscale 400Mhz
-32mb rom
-64mb ram
-Reflective TFT LCD
-Memory Stick
-removable Lithium Ion battery!
-15 hours use
-Infare red
-FOR ONLY $3380 (hongkong$)=$650(Canadian$)-->cheaper than Compaq iPAQ H3850<

Questions:
1) Can it run Arm proccessor application?

2) Do all Xscale software work on Acer n20?

3) Can Chinese PPC2002 os run english ppc2002 software?

4) If i'm buying from Acer n20, do i get OS upgrades like ipaq does? (eg. ppc2002 upgrade to ppc2004)

5) Is there alot of software supporting Xscale proccessor type ppc?

6) Is Acer a reliable company to rely on?

7) Does Acer n20 hv the same hardware specs/speed as e740 xscale 400mhz??

8) Does Acer n20 also hv a ATI graphic cheap like the e740?? if so, is the hardware also suppressed like e740?

To answer you questions on the Xscale. The XScale is just a type of ARM proccesser developed by Intel. So ARM software will work with it.

I had an enormous amount of problems with Acer, involving TI laptops (after Acer bought out TI's line), and with an AcerNote Light 361. They made commitments to send replacement parts, then refused to do so, they lied to me about Microsoft making Win95 rev B available to them, and repeatedly stonewalled me on various issues.

Personally, I doubt I'll ever buy anything from Acer again.
