Notes in Calendar Mode

Help! When I input notes into my ppc in calendar mode they transfer to Outlook, but when I write notes in Outlook they do not appear or sync with my ppc????? What am I doing incorrectly?

Do you save these notes inside My Documents folder on the desktop? Activesync will not sync outside My Documents folder.
