Clie Disconnects from Wifi when I switch to another internet application

It never did this before. The wifi disconnects itself after every download of email, or if I switch to the net application, it disconnects when I change a website. So does the infared. WHen I use my cell phone to connect to the internet to download emails, it's really a pain in the #### since I spend more time connecting then downloading. SONY is CLOSED down in Florida due to the hurricane. Any suggestions?

Check the bottom of page 2 of NetFront Settings in the options drop down menu. Set it for "On Termination - Never Disconnect"

Thanks for looking at my post! I did that...and it still disconnects when I change to another wifi needed application.

I think what did it was a third party application. I'm racking my brain to figure out which one would interfer.

Now I'm trying to get the movies to play. You figure out one thing then go on to three or four. By the time I get this clie figured out, it will be worn out!

Spoke to Sony-we did a hard reset and it still disconnected....right now it's somewhere between Maine and San Diego! Boo Hoo! One thing I have to say...Sony does have their repair system down pat! Very organized. They sent me the box fed ex, and all I had to do was follow the directions and drop it off at any Fed Ex shoot. I will get it back in 10 days. I sent it out on Friday the 28th. Lets see when I get it back!
