I work for a large company that is looking to extend email service to employees on the road. We have laptops, 2 way pagers and cell phones, but it looks like there may be some better options for quickly getting email while on travel. (and not having to deal with disparate systems) There don't appear to be any panaceas, but clearly there are better options than what we have now, be it a Blackberry, PDA w/ LAN card, etc.
Email (with and without attachments) is the focus. We are not interested in providing direct access to our other network services or servers at this time, as this might create significant security issues on our network.
Would appreciate your feedback, pitfalls, or even a list of requirements you've found useful in making similar decisions.
